Ever seen a 200 pound woman fight?

Gabi Garcia is the scariest woman in MMA, and scored a brutal knockout in Rizin FF.

Gabi Garcia is a world-class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu player. She’s an athletic freak that towers over the rest of the women’s combat sports scene. And now, she’s an undefeated (albeit 1-0) mixed martial artist.

The Brazilian made her debut at Rizin FF’s year-end show last night, taking on “The Lady Beast” Lei’d Tapa in one of the best (or worst, depending on your tastes) MMA bouts of 2015. Not only did she beat Lei’d Tapa, but she cold-cocked her with one of the best (or worst, depending on your tastes) spinning backfists in MMA history.

Tapa actually rocks Garcia badly in the first few seconds of the bout, nailing her with a hard left hand but when Garcia invites Tapa to start grappling with her, she backs off and lets her back to her feet. From there, they have one of the ugliest striking battles in recent memory until, at 2:37, Garcia throws a combination and follows it with a backfist that lands perfectly to the chin.

Tapa went to the ground and Garcia went right after her, and finished the fight with ground-and-pound not long after. She would finish her with punches not long after.

Unfortunately, we’ll probably never see Garcia in American MMA, due to the fact that there aren’t really any women competing in MMA above 155 pounds. Still, Rizin might be the best place for a fighter like Garcia to stay active.
